**NEW** LISA Shearer Control System

LISA is the name given to our newest line of electrical controls for our shearing machines.  Developed at Eickhoff Corporation, the new modular design reduces the number of components required to do the job.  As a result, the number of wires and inter-connections is also drastically reduced. 
The system is comprised of a group of modules, each module with a single purpose to aid with intuitive troubleshooting and quick repair.  The modules are located near the components that they control, minimizing long wiring runs. 
All of these modules have been vibration tested to IEC 60068-2-6 and 60068-2-27 standards to assure that there will be no problems while in operation even in the harshest of mining conditions.  The modules are then mounted onto two main control assemblies and located to simplify the design and minimize the interconnections to other machine components.
The onboard display shows all of the operating signals of the machine allowing maintenance personnel or machine operators to verify that the machine is functioning at its full potential.
In the event of a problem, the powerful on-board diagnostics quickly identifies the problem, and displays the recommended troubleshooting steps to take.  These troubleshooting steps are organized in sequence based both on the likelihood of failure and the difficulty of the repair.  This allows repairs to begin immediately, rather than having to wait for diagnostic assistance from troubleshooting specialists.
This control system, coupled with the best gearing in the industry, makes for a very reliable and powerful package.
